A folding phone’s cover screen is its own shape, much squatter than an ordinary phone, so the phone file has to be blown up to fill it. This is drawn at the cover’s own size. It is the same 16:11 as the open panel turned on its side, which is what a book fold does.

Every pack here is drawn in code and rendered straight to 1398 × 2034, so nothing is scaled up from a smaller file and long gradients do not band. Where a screen is smaller than this, the file scales down onto it, which throws pixels away rather than inventing them.
