A laptop is not a monitor. 16:10 is taller than 16:9, so a desktop wallpaper put on a MacBook either letterboxes or loses its top and bottom to the crop. This is the same composition drawn again at 16:10, so nothing is cut off and nothing is stretched.

Every pack here is drawn in code and rendered straight to 5120 × 3200, so nothing is scaled up from a smaller file and long gradients do not band. Where a screen is smaller than this, the file scales down onto it, which throws pixels away rather than inventing them.
